What It Controls

Preventive or early curative treatment for white grubs, including larvae of Japanese beetle, Northern and Southern masked chafers, May/June beetle, black turfgrass Ataenius, green June beetle, annual bluegrass weevil, billbugs, Aphodius beetle, European chafer and Oriental beetle, as well as larvae of armyworms, cutworms and sod webworms



How to Apply
  • For best results, use a Scotts spreader set to the indicated label settings.
  • Mowing your lawn before applying GrubEx will help the granules reach the soil faster.
  • For best results, especially under drought conditions, it is recommended to water in GrubEx.


When to Apply
  • GrubEx® works best when applied before grubs hatch or when they are newly hatched. For proper application in most areas, apply anytime from spring through late summer.
  • Check your local County University Extension Office for the best application timing for your area.
